On a crisp dry day in Cardiff after the deluge early in the week, our athletes faced a tough challenge from a strong Welsh and South of England teams,
Under 20 men
The North secured their only victory of the day with an outstanding run by James Hall winning in a time of 23.51 in a tight finish.
James was followed by Luke Betts in 4th and Emile Cariss 6th, with Jack Nixon bring home team victory in 9th.
Under 20 women
The North were third behind the South and Wales in a highly competitive race. Rosie Johnson 5th, Megan Davies 14th, Rebecca Donohue 16th and Katie Buckley 17th.
Senior men
Our senior men were second behind a strong welsh team headed by GB international Dewi Griffiths. The outstanding run of the day was Joe bailey in 4th followed by Gary Priestley 12th, Pete Matthews 20th and Rich Burney 21st.
Senior women
Again we were second to a strong Welsh team , but an outstanding performance by Sarah Tunstall in 5th returning to great form, followed by Laura Riches 11th, Rachel Burns 17th and Dionne Allan 18th
