Congratulations to Northern Athletics President Mrs Jean Simpson who has been awarded the MBE in the Queen’s birthday honors list. Jean a member Bury AC and secretary of Greater Manchester County AA has given a lifetimes service to our sport and we are all very pleased that she has been recognized in this way. Jean has always enjoyed the loyal support of her husband John and we wish them both well.
