Another good day for Northern athletes at Rio as Bingley Harriers Alistair & Jonathon Brownlee won the gold and silver medals in the triathlon.
Alistair successfully defend the title he won in London in 2012 while younger brother Jonny went one better than London when he was third by picking up the silver. This brings the current medal count to four for Northern athletes at Rio.
