Sad news today (10th October 2016) that David Parry finally succumbed after a long battle with illness and died this morning.
A great character and supporter of local athletics Dave was a member of Mandale, NYMAC and most recently Esk Valley. For years he almost single handedly organised the local fell races, and until last year was an automatic appointment as adjudicator for the New Marske Harriers road races.
Always cheerful and with a story to tell, he will be sadly missed by many.
