Arthur Fox
All of us at Northern Athletics are deeply saddened to report the death of Northern & Lincolnshire Timekeeper Arthur Fox, on 8th August 2017.
Arthur was a lovely man and a dedicated official who was an ever present at Northern events. He also officiated at the highest National levels alongside club, county and schools events.
In addition he was always ready with a kind word, a happy smile and plenty of laughter. He will be very much missed by all who knew him. Our deepest sympathies go to Arthur’s family at this sad time.
Funeral Details
A service will be held at Lincoln Crematorium, Washingborough Road, Lincoln, LN4 1EF on Wednesday 30th August at 11.10 am.

We were all saddened to hear the news of Arthur Fox. Arthur was a true friend of Athletics in Grimsby and helped and supported Cleethorpes Ac. on many occasions, as well as his own Club of Grimsby Harriers. We shall miss him deeply as an official at our Cross Country and Track & Field events. His presence at an event always led to it running well because of his friendliness and his cheerful attitude. His work as an official was of the highest quality. His company always made the day a real pleasure.
