Given the current COVID situation and the likelihood that an improvement in the situation is likely to take months to occur we wish to formalise the indications given at our AGM in November by announcing that:
- The Northern Cross Country Championships will not take place on the 24th January 2021
- The Northern Indoor Championships, both senior and junior, will not, understandably, be able to take place and are cancelled for 2021.
- We are still hopeful that the planned 12 & 6 stage Road Relay Championships will take place later in March at Redcar with New Marske Harriers the host club, but again it will be subject to restrictions and guidelines, both local and nationally, at the time.
We will be releasing a further detailed statement on a number of issues soon.
We wish you all a Happy Christmas and let us hope for an excellent year of competition in 2021
