Great news – date for the diary! The NA Autumn Road Relays have been scheduled to take place on Saturday 18th September 2021 at Redcar – hosted by New Marske Harriers. This event will of course only go ahead if Government restrictions allow it although obviously we are extremely hopeful that the pandemic will have retreated sufficiently for events to be taking place again. Fingers crossed!!
Unfortunately the annual Inter County match for U17 and U15 county teams has had to be cancelled for 2021 as although the event was scheduled for July, many county championships normally held in May, will not go ahead and therefore selection of athletes for the county teams will not be possible. Many of the county championships are being re-scheduled for later in the year but there is no suitable date on which to hold the Inter County match this year. We hope that normal service will be resumed in 2022 as the Inter County match is always a great favourite with young athletes and the NA officials.
