– Pat’s funeral will be held on August 20th at midday at Widnes Crematorium. Attendees are requested to wear something red if possible.
Pat Green sadly passed away on Sunday August 3rd.

As many will know Pat for many years was the women’s referee at the Gt North Run and London Marathon and was highly regarded in the sport as a National Field Official and Off Track Endurance Official.
Along with Graham and Joe she mentored me and many others to the level we are at now.
Both Pat and Jim were members of Liverpool Pembroke and Sefton and latterly Liverpool Harriers, Merseyside County AA.
Pat was Chair of North of England AA latterly Northern Athletics for many years and AAA.
After the death of her husband Jim in 2018, Pat initially lived at home but for the past 5-6 yrs had been in a residential home in Liverpool.
No funeral arrangements are known yet.
