Oonagh McManus bronze medal winner in NA 5k Champs was 2nd in 18.40, with Ruby Langford, Sale, 6th in 22.24.
Senior Men:
Not a good day for NA teams in the 12 stage. Highest placed team was Salford, 5th, with Leeds City 9th and Morpeth third highest in 17th place.
Senior Women:
At least the NA 6 stage winners finished on the podium, with Leeds City 2nd behind Belgrave Harriers in a fascinating race.
The first leg was full of hope for NA clubs, with Trafford and Salford 1st and 2nd. Bethany Reid was 1st back for Trafford in 18.24, with Salford’s Sinead Bent just 7 seconds behind her.
However, after the first leg, the top 2 positions were held by either Belgrave or Leeds, as they leapfrogged each other throughout. Unfortunately, Belgrave overtook Leeds on leg 6 to win in a time of 1:52.55, with Leeds 2nd in 1:55.21.
