Road Relay Prospectus 2022
Please read the prospectus carefully, before you enter. Most questions can be answered on there but please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any queries. The Yorkshire Road Relays are on Saturday 16th April 2022 and the closing date for entries is Friday 9th April 2022. There can be no late entries.
It will be held at St.Thomas A Becket Catholic Secondary School, on their enclosed cycle track. I’ve attached a Jpeg of the aerial view of the track so you have a better idea.
As always, these days, I’m afraid there is limited parking available on the site so you should endeavour to car share as much as possible. Sandal and Agbrigg Train Station is just a 3 minute walk away from the cycle track so travelling by train is a good option, There are also several bus stops on either side of the Barnsley Road, outside the school. Parking on Agbrigg Road or Agbrigg Grove to anyone other than residential permit holders is strictly forbidden, and heavily monitored by residents and traffic wardens. There is some on-street parking on Barnsley Road, please check the signage as restrictions vary and be aware this is a very busy road, as it’s one of the main routes into Wakefield. There is also a pay and display car park at the station, and at the Waterfront Carpark, near The Hepworth, (20mins walk).
