Northern Athletics would once again like thank all those who completed the survey, and submitted comments. There are almost 600 comments, and some sample comments are included on the relevant slide to show the range of responses & views received. The executive committee will use the survey results & comments to determine the future strategy for NA.
As you should have already seen, the issue will form an agenda item at the forthcoming EA club conferences. Northern Athletics are working with Midlands and Southern areas on the issue of area sustainability, and the survey results and comments will feed into these discussions. A meeting is scheduled between the 3 areas and England Athletics on the 25th March. The aim will be to work in partnership with EA to try and deliver what the clubs, athletes, coaches and officials have confirmed they would like to see in the survey responses and comments.
