News reaches us of the death of Leeds City stalwart Arthur Cockcroft aged 92 on the 26th July 2016 after a short illness.
A founder member of Leeds City Arthur was know to probably many thousands of athletes who he helped and encouraged during a career in the sport going back to the 1940s. Arthur was originally a member of Leeds Harehills before the formation of Leeds City.
Funeral Details
Monday 8th August at 10.30 am at Christ Church, Halton, Leeds
Followed by a cremation at Lawnswood for the family.
Please join us afterwards from 11.30 at the Parkway, Otley Road.
