The funeral Service for Peter will be held on 11th September at 2.45pm at Rotherham Crematorium, Ridgeway, Rotherham S65 3NN & afterwards at Wickersley Old Village Cricket Club on Northfield Lane, Wickersley S66 2HL . All welcome.
It is with deep regret that we must inform you of the death of Peter Lord who died peacefully at home this morning (29/08)
Peter was a highly-respected and well-liked starter in the North and had been on the National List for many years.
He was a regular attendee at Northern Athletics meetings and served with distinction on the Northern Tri Regional Officials group and a stalwart of officiating in South Yorkshire.
We will publish funeral arrangements once we have received the information.
Our thoughts are with Peter’s wife Cath and family and we would like to thank David Brown for informing us of this very sad news.
