Humber Athletics has to inform all that sadly Edwin Bellamy passed
away recently.
Edwin was our County Secretary from the formation of Humber in 1973
and has given 50 years of devoted service to the County. His service
was a massive contribution to Humber in many offices and capacities,
as well as giving long service at many levels of officiating,
particularly at the very highest level of Timekeeping. His service to
our County included working on National Committees, perhaps especially
hat of the CAU. His work has been described as the bedrock of
athletics in Humber and there can be no more fitting tribute.
We offer our deepest sympathy to his wife Christine who was a constant
support to his service throughout, and to all his family.
